Hello everyone, this is my first ever mod. I started on it a year or so ago but never finished it due to getting back to school, but now it is done and im happy to share it with everyone. Doom 3 was the first game I learned to mod and when I seen how I could change things about the game I decided to try and fix the annoying things in the vanilla game and to make it a little more challenging and fun. I've always enjoyed Doom 3 but was happy to make it play the way I wanted it to, so this is more of a personal project but if any one else wants to give it a shot I would be more then happy to see what everyone thinks of it.

Description
I have always enjoyed Doom 3 but could not stand some of the odd decisions they made for the gameplay and so when I first started learning how to mod the game I decided to tweak things the way I felt they should work. The changes are small overall and aim to simply touch up the main issues with the game while adding a little extra challenge without messing with the core gameplay to much.

Oh I thought I already had a few screenshots up, at least I can see them anyway. There's not to much to show since most of the mod is balance changes to weapon stats and such, but there should be a few pictures up. One shows the splash damage I added to the plasma gun, another one shows the megahealth replacing the berserk powerup. Then there's a pic showing the switched out chaingun ammo boxes, and finally one that shows the backpack removed from the game for balance reasons. But ill check on those images and make sure they are showing, thanks for the comment :)

There is a lot of confusion when people hear the word Doom, in gaming. Your version of "Doom3" _I don't know what to say_ is it another open-source fork of the Doom1, Brutal Doom, FreeDoom or something else? At best, it should be called "Doom2", but never Doom3. That game is still a closed-sourced commercial best-seller of the id software. Therefore, your naming is confusing, if not illegal, too. I suggest that you should name it Doomed, Doomer or Doomland_ sth like that. Yes, I know that the engine was GPLed (like Quake3) but if you want the finished game Doom3 you should buy it! wikipedia.org/wiki/Doom_3 Thanks for reading

No worries, I have the game bought and owned through steam, the mod does not include the Doom 3 game, only mod files. I put the 3 on it since its a mod for Doom 3. There are countless mods on this sight alone that use the same naming convention, and I make no claim of owning the Doom license or anything like that, Doom 3 is of course Id's property. This is only a game balance mod, nothing more. Thanks for the concern though.

Could you detail some of the changes you've made?
There doesn't seem to be any explanation of what this mod is.
