It's time to take a look at thestandout high school performers from Stark Countyfor the past week.

Your vote will determine who will be theStark County High School Athlete of the Weekfor March 24-30. We will pick one girl and one boy. Each athlete’s credentials are listed above the poll — which will be live until 5 p.m. Thursday. The winners will be announced Friday morning onCantonRep.com.

Now, let's meet the candidates, who were selected by the Repository sports staff based on results submitted to the Rep.

Here's a look at the girls nominees for Stark County Athlete of the Week, in alphabetical order:

Nevaeh Drennen, Massillon softball

Went 2-for-4 with two runs and an RBI in a win over Claymont, after going 2-for-4 with a run in a loss to Claymont, 2-for-3 in a loss to Hoover and hitting a solo homer in 4-1 win at Dalton.

Aubrey Eisele, Lake softball

Helped sweep a doubleheader against Ellet by singling home the lone run of a 1-0 win and going 3-for-4 in a 15-2 win after getting a hit and scoring two runs in a Federal League win over Perry earlier in the week.

Emi Fankhauser, Hoover softball

Accounted for all four runs in a 4-3 win over Perry when she went 2-for-3 with a double, triple, two runs and 2 RBIs, as she scored six runs total in three wins last week to go with four hits and three RBIs.

Isabelle Perry, Perry track and field

Swept the throws events to help lead the Panthers to the team title at their season-opening invitational, winning the shot put with a throw of 36-6 and discus with a mark of 96-0.

Teresa Petro, Sandy Valley softball

Went 4-for-4 with a double, a home run, five RBIs and a run in a 16-0 win over Fairless, had a two-hit game with an RBI in a 6-0 win over Alliance and hit a slam while totaling six RBIs in a 10-0 win over Canton South.

Laura Seward, Fairless track and field

Swept the hurdles and won the high jump in the Falcons' dual-meet win over Coshocton, with winning performances of 18.3 in the 100 hurdles, 52,9 in the 300 hurdles and 4-8 in the high jump.

Chloe Whitmer, Jackson softball

Hit a game-winning two-run double in the sixth in an 8-7 win over GlenOak, as she went 2-for-4 with three RBIs.

Here's a look at the boys nominees for Stark County Athlete of the Week, in alphabetical order:

Logan Allman, Northwest track and field

Swept the hurdles at Perry's invitational, winning the 110s (15.00) and 300s (39.39).

Aaron Fawver, McKinley baseball

Hit a grand slam in a win over Aquinas.

Cash Iams, Tuslaw track and field

Won the 800 (2:02.68) and 1,600 (4:51.04) at Perry's season-opening invitational.

Zack Long Fairless baseball

Went 4-for-5 with four RBIs and two runs in a 10-6 win over Sandy Valley.

AustinMattox, Perry track and field

Helped lead the Panthers to the team title at their season-opening invitational by winning the 200 (22.96) and 400 (51.53).

Caleb Shelly, Lake Center Christian baseball

Went 2-for-3 with a double, three RBIs and two runs in a 14-3 win over McKinley.

Jonathan Stangl, Central Catholic track and field

Won the shot put (46-0) and discus (154-8) in a five-team invitational.
